If you decide to go ahead and book my professional services, I will require a non-refundable booking fee of $100 to reserve the day and time you have chosen. This will be deducted from the total fee in final payment of your ceremony.
I am dedicated to my celebrancy practice. Your ceremony will have my full focus. I never embark on more than 2 ceremonies a day and then they would have to be mid-morning or late afternoon, far enough apart to provide ample time for getting from A to B.
I have recently looked into my celebrancy costs and income and find that I cannot continue to operate and balance the books without marginally increasing my fee for ceremonies with full creative input. This small increase will apply as from the 1st July 2011 for future bookings. Those of you who already have bookings in place will not be affected.
As from 1st October 2011, I will be introducing an economy package for $300 in an endeavour to compete with Registries and those who merely moonlight on weekends. I am sure that pensioners and others, who may be handicapped or ill, will find this a breath of fresh air. You still have the choice of marrying in a garden, park or favourite place but the ceremony will not be too long. Also, those of you with children will be spared a ceremony lasting 30-40 mins and be able to move on after approximately 15-20 mins. Do not think the ceremony will not be as meaningful as I can assure you it most definitely will be and delivered with what I hope you regard as my usual clarity and warmth whilst making sure that all legalities are met.

*In respect of my travel surchage rates above, if I need to travel much further afield and incur other expenses such as extraneous transport costs, ferry fees or entry costs, these of course may increase. Any other costs would be identified early, advised and explained.
All clients receive a presentation copy of their scripts and are presented with a commemorative certificates.
I believe that the ceremonies I conduct are exceptional value. I also offer my wedding clients the choice of applying for their official marriage certificate(s) from the Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages in Brisbane when I lodge their marriage documents for registration following the ceremony. These fees are $37 for the standard certificate and $50 for the commemorative package.
